Mexico's Gendarmerie
Below is a postcard of the Rurales, the rural police/gendarmerie of late 1800s, early 1900s Mexico.

I believe the white uniformed individuals are officers, to the right, and a senior soldier, to the left.
The others wear grey uniforms.
