Guatemala infantry, 1903

I found these plates in a book. I'm not sure if the subjects are cadets or regular soldiers.

They are terrific.
Love the Remington Rolling block rifle in 1904.
I think they are regular infantry, but can't be sure.

The first picture is the title page of the book.

It is in the Benson Latin American Collection of the University of Texas, Austin . Most university libraries out west try to have good collections on Latin America.
