Postcards of the South African Army
These are the only examples I have seen of what could be a very interesting series. Does anyone else have examples they can share with us?

Major General of the Permanent Staff.
And what I believe is the Drum-Major of the Transvaal Scottish Regiment.

Ceremonial Guard
I have had this one for about 15 years now. The Ceremonial Guard in Capetown, c. 1996.

CEREMONIAL GUARD
The photograph actually shows "No Castle Guard Cape Town. In 2010 a purely civilian security organisation for the Cape Castle, there also being a purely ceremonial (entertainment for tourists) body employed with the Castle, Castle Guard Halberdiers, dressed in a quasi-military uniform, performing amongst others the daily Changing of the Guard Ceremony." Which group of entertainers are shown in the photo. Yours, G.A.MACKINLAY
