Soviet Ranks 1930's
Here’s a chart for the Soviet army mid thirties up to WWII,
At the top of the chart are collar tabs for tunic and coat, with the ranks as shown for the infantry below for sleeve and collar.
The image host’s limit has left it a little smaller than the actual size, I should have possibly spilt it into two pages.
regards
WF

Ranks WWII
Similar ranks were worn from 1940/43, changes were to the Generals Officers ranks and officers sleeve chevrons.
Also during 1940 the generals names came more in line with the rest of Europe, General of the Army, Colonel General, Major General and Lieutenant General, rank of Lieutenant Colonel introduced also.
Other ranks became Corporal, Junior Sergeant, Sergeant, Senior Sergeant and Sergeant Major, again with changes to the collar tabs.
A couple of additional corps badges were added also.
The ranks changed again to resemble the old Tsar stile around 1943.
Yes no single triangle rank, none shown in the rank chart, the single triangle in the illustration above had the triangle in the background, daft not to notice.

Here’s the ranks for 1940/43, several illustrations show the collar without the yellow triangle.
Infantry for this period wore crossed rifles and target badge.
A number of references don’t have the infantry badge on the other ranks collar tabs,
the Russian reference shows the badge so I have gone with that reference.
It’s not the clearest of charts but I believe it gives the general idea.
