The band wore the British zouave style uniform until the Regiment was disbanded in 1928. The band of the Barbados Defence Force continues to wear the uniform.

Not quite the same but related.

I have tried to find additional information regarding this illustration from the Gunga Din issue of Commonwealth and Empire Series.

Details from the booklet are;
Gilt chin scales
Black shako with silver bands, gilt badge, green plume and black rosette.
Jaclet Scarlet with dark blue collar, lapels and cuffs. Tunbacks white trimmed with white lace
Collar timed with gold lace, lapels and cuffs piped with white.
Wings scarlet cloth piped with dark blue and trimmed with gold lace, gold bullion fringe.
Buttons gilt with holes black silk cord.
Shoulder belt white with gilt plate,
White gloves.
Trousers white linen.
Boots black.
